Exceptional People Need Everyday Triumphs
Covey provides resources that empower people with disabilities and their families. Through short-term care, social events, and skill-building programs, Covey helps youth and adults move toward greater independence. We also provide the relief and ongoing support that caregivers need.
Who We Serve
Covey is based in Oshkosh and serves clients from all over Central Wisconsin.
Youth & Adults with Disabilities
We believe people with disabilities deserve to experience the same joy and possibility as all people, to discover passions and pursue dreams.
Family & Caregivers
Caring for a loved one with disabilities is rewarding – but it’s also a challenging and complex role. We believe caregivers can continuously renew their ability to nurture when given active support.
Covey began in 1954 as United Cerebral Palsy of Winnebagoland. The original founders wanted to create person-focused day programs for people with developmental disabilities. Over 60+ years, Covey has evolved to include respite care, a skills development program, social events, and more, for people of all ages.
Covey has been a United Way partner agency since 1963.
